Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is wagered on with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below 10 are valued at their printed value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the sum of the cards, however the first digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and six has a score of 1 (5 plus 6 equals eleven; drop the initial ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be given based on the following rules:

- If the gambler or bank achieves a score of 8 or 9, the two players stand.

- If the gambler has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise hold.

- If the gambler stays, the banker hits on 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart is used to figure out if the house stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The higher of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the house payout nineteen to Twenty (even money less a five percent rake. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you depart the table so ensure you have funds left over just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning wagers for a tie usually pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as ties occur lower than one in every ten rounds. Be wary of gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus eight to one)

Played properly baccarat gives fairly good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Scheme

As with all games baccarat banque has some established myths. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events yet to happen. Recording past outcomes on a page of paper is a poor use of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.

The most familiar and probably the most accomplished plan is the one, three, two, six method. This plan is deployed to pump up earnings and minimizing losses.

Start by wagering one dollar. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a total of three dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have six on the table, pull off 4 so you keep two on the third round. Should you win the third wager, add two on the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth bet.

If you do not win on the initial bet, you take a hit of one. A win on the 1st wager followed by a loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you with a profit of two. And success on the initial three with a hit on the fourth means you break even. Winning all 4 bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you are able to lose the second bet 5 instances for every favorable run of four rounds and still are even.
