Punto Banco Policies and Strategy
Baccarat Banque Principles
Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum of the cards, although the first number is discarded. For example, a hand of five and six has a score of one (5 plus six = 11; drop the first ‘one’).
A additional card could be given out based on the following rules:
- If the player or banker gets a total of 8 or 9, the two players stand.
- If the player has less than 5, she hits. Players otherwise hold.
- If the player holds, the banker hits on a total less than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is employed to figure out if the bank stays or takes a card.
Baccarat Odds
The higher of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19:20 (equal money minus a 5% rake. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you quit the game so make sure you have money remaining before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pays one to one. Winning bets for a tie frequently pays out at eight to one but occasionally 9:1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten rounds. Avoid putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)
Wagered on properly baccarat chemin de fer gives fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Punto Banco Method
As with all games baccarat banque has some familiar misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of events yet to happen. Keeping score of previous results at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most accepted and definitely the most successful strategy is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This tactic is deployed to build up profits and minimizing losses.
Start by placing one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of three units on the second bet. If you win you will retain six on the game table, subtract 4 so you have two on the 3rd bet. Should you win the 3rd wager, add two to the 4 on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.
Should you do not win on the initial round, you take a hit of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a hit on the 3rd gives you with a gain of two. And success on the first three with a hit on the fourth means you experience no loss. Succeeding at all 4 wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you can squander the second round 5 instances for each successful streak of four bets and in the end, are even.
