Baccarat Banque Standards

Baccarat chemin de fer is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are valued at face value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the cards, although the first number is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of 1 (five plus 6 = eleven; ignore the first ‘one’).

A third card could be dealt based on the rules below:

- If the player or house has a score of 8 or nine, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has less than five, she takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the house hits on a value lower than five. If the player takes a card, a guide is used to figure out if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (even money minus a 5% rake. Commission are tracked and cleared out when you quit the table so make sure you still have funds around just before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie usually pay 8 to 1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad bet as ties happen less than one in every 10 hands. Avoid wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Gambled on properly punto banco offers generally decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of common myths. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Keeping track of previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most accepted and almost certainly the most acknowledged plan is the one, three, two, six technique. This method is used to pump up earnings and minimizing losses.

Begin by placing 1 unit. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the table for a sum of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, pull off 4 so you have 2 on the third wager. Should you win the third wager, add two on the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th round.

If you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the initial wager followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Success on the first two with a loss on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the initial 3 with a hit on the 4th means you experience no loss. Succeeding at all 4 rounds leaves you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you will be able to squander the 2nd wager five instances for every favorable streak of 4 rounds and in the end, break even.
