Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than 10 are worth face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they purely appear as the two hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of 7 as well as 5 results in a value of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card could be given out depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of 8 or 9, then both gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart might be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores will be the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay at nineteen to 20 (even money minus a five % commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so make sure to have cash left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie by and large pays eight to one but sometimes 9 to one. (This is a terrible bet as ties occur less than one every ten hands. Avoid betting on a tie. Nonetheless odds are certainly better – nine to one versus eight to one)

When played properly, baccarat offers pretty decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with all games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. One of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is never actually an indicator of future results. Staying abreast of last conclusions on a chart is a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful tactic is the one-3-two-six concept. This tactic is used to maximize payout and cutting back risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have two on the third gamble. If you win the third gamble, add two to the four on the table for a total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Therefore you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
