Punto Banco Policies

Baccarat is gambled on with eight decks in a shoe. Cards below 10 are counted at their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum of the two cards, however the 1st number is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a value of one (5 plus 6 = 11; ditch the first ‘1′).

A 3rd card could be given out based on the following rules:

- If the gambler or bank achieves a value of 8 or nine, both players stand.

- If the player has less than 5, he takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player holds, the house takes a card on a value less than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to see if the bank stays or hits.

The bigger of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19 to 20 (equal money minus a five percent rake. Commission are recorded and paid off once you leave the game so be sure to still have money around before you quit). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie typically pays out at eight to one but sometimes nine to one. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Avoid wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially better for nine to one versus 8 to 1)

Wagered on correctly punto banco gives generally good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few accepted misunderstandings. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future actions. Recording previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.

The most common and definitely the most favorable method is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This technique is used to maximize earnings and limit losses.

Begin by betting one chip. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the game table for a sum of 3 units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the game table, take away four so you keep two on the 3rd bet. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, deposit 2 on the four on the game table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

Should you don’t win on the 1st wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first bet followed by a hit on the second causes a hit of two. Wins on the initial 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a profit of two. And success on the 1st three with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all four wagers leaves you with 12, a take of ten. This means you can not win on the 2nd bet five times for every favorable streak of four bets and still are even.
