Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards valued less than ten are said to be worth face value meanwhile 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just appear as the 2 hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards will now be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for every hand will be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For example, a hand of seven and 5 produces a total of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be dealt depending on the following guidelines:

- If the player or banker has a score of eight or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores will be the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker pay nineteen to 20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have cash left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie as a rule pays eight to 1 but sometimes nine to 1. (This is a crazy wager as ties happen lower than 1 every ten hands. Run away from putting money on a tie. However odds are significantlly better – 9 to one versus eight to 1)

When played correctly, baccarat provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is surely not an indicator of future happenings. Staying abreast of past conclusions on a chart is simply a total waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and almost certainly most successful technique is the 1-3-2-six technique. This plan is deployed to amplify winnings and cutting back risk.

commence by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have two on the third wager. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the 4th gamble.

If you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Getting a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means that you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
