Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards that are valued under ten are counted at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they purely represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards are then given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for each hand shall be the sum total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of seven … five will have a value of 2 (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card might be played depending on the foll. standards:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of eight or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores is the winner. Victorious bets on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even odds less a five % commission. Commission is kept track of and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure that you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie normally pay eight to one and occasionally 9 to one. (This is a terrible gamble as ties occur less than one every 10 hands. be cautious of betting on a tie. Even so odds are emphatically better – nine to 1 versus eight to one)

When played accurately, baccarat offers relatively good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is not an indicator of future outcomes. Monitoring of historic outcomes on a chart is simply a total waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and feasibly most successful tactic is the one-three-two-6 scheme. This scheme is used to accentuate earnings and reducing risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the third gamble. If you win the third gamble, add two to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. In other words that you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
