Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is gambled on with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at face value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum of the cards, but the first number is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a total of one (five plus six = eleven; drop the first ‘1′).

A additional card may be given out depending on the rules below:

- If the gambler or banker has a score of 8 or 9, both players stay.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, she takes a card. Players stands otherwise.

- If the player stays, the banker hits on a value less than five. If the player takes a card, a table is employed to see if the house stands or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The larger of the 2 totals wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out 19:20 (even money less a five percent commission. The Rake is tracked and paid off when you depart the game so make sure you have funds around just before you depart). Winning wagers on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pays 8:1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties happen lower than one in every 10 hands. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one vs. eight to one)

Played properly baccarat chemin de fer gives pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Scheme

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has quite a few established misconceptions. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Keeping track of previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper needs.

The most common and definitely the most favorable method is the one, three, two, six plan. This technique is employed to build up profits and limit risk.

Start by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum of three units on the second bet. Should you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract four so you are left with two on the third round. Should you succeed on the 3rd bet, add two on the 4 on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the 1st round followed by a loss on the 2nd creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a take of 2. And wins on the first three with a hit on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all four bets gives you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every favorable run of four rounds and in the end, break even.
