Punto Banco Standards

Baccarat is gambled on with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at their printed value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the cards, but the beginning number is ignored. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a value of 1 (5 plus 6 = 11; drop the first ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be given out using the rules below:

- If the player or banker gets a score of 8 or 9, the two players hold.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the gambler holds, the banker takes a card on a total less than five. If the player hits, a guide is employed to see if the house stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (equal cash less a 5% rake. Commission are tracked and paid off when you depart the game so ensure you have funds left over just before you head out). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie usually pay 8 to 1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor bet as ties happen lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 vs. eight to one)

Gambled on properly baccarat chemin de fer provides relatively good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Banque Method

As with all games Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future outcomes. Recording past outcomes at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most common and likely the most favorable method is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This plan is used to build up profits and minimizing losses.

Start by placing one unit. If you win, add another to the two on the game table for a total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have six on the game table, take away four so you are left with 2 on the 3rd bet. If you succeed on the 3rd bet, deposit 2 to the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth round.

Should you do not win on the 1st round, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first wager followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Success on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And wins on the 1st 3 with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Succeeding at all 4 wagers gives you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can give up the second round 5 instances for every successful run of 4 bets and still experience no loss.
